Hello! My name is Tommy Truitt, a recent graduate of Elon University receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with minors in Dance and Religious Studies.

I grew up in a small town in Maryland with my family, two cats, and a dog. When I decided that acting is what I wanted to do with my life, I decided to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts and ended up at Elon University in North Carolina.

While at Elon I took classes in acting, movement, dance, and voice as well as an incredible liberal arts curriculum. I also have had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad at the Theater Academy of London studying Shakespeare, high comedy, and getting certified in stage combat. Additionally, in January of 2023 I had the opportunity to study abroad in South India for a month with some of my fellow Elon Students.

I have spent the last year touring around the country getting to teach and expose children to the magic of theatre. Travel is one of my favorite things and I am so grateful that I have not only gotten to travel but also connect with communities all across the nation, learn, and grow, all the while deepening my love for theatre.
