Hi there! My name is Tommy Truitt, an Atlanta based actor who moved to the Southeast with a passion for my career, a love of the craft, and just a tiny obsession with sweet tea. A recent graduate of Elon University, I graduated Summa Cum Laude receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with minors in Dance and Religious Studies.

I grew up in a small town in Maryland with my family, two cats, and a dog. When I decided that acting is what I wanted to do with my life, I pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts and ended up at Elon University in North Carolina.

While at Elon I took classes in acting, movement, dance, and voice as well as an incredible liberal arts curriculum. I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad at the Theater Academy of London during my four years. Studying Shakespeare, high comedy, and getting certified in stage combat. Additionally, in January of 2023 I had the opportunity to study in South India for a month with some of my fellow Elon Students.

I have spent the last year touring around the country getting to teach and expose children to the magic of theatre. Travel is one of my favorite things and I am so grateful that I have not only gotten to travel but also connect with communities all across the nation, learn, and grow, all the while deepening my love for theatre.
